The handwriting experts make up only one team at Keith Borer Consultants. The wider company includes specialists in all aspects of forensic science from fingerprints to mobile phones, DNA to collision investigation.

Keith Borer Consultants was formed by a husband and wife team in 1980 after identifying a need for independent scrutiny of scientific evidence in the courts. After Dr Borer’s retirement in 2001, the company was led by Drs Aidan Borer and Jane Bloor until it became part of Orchid Cellmark in 2015. Today there are around 50 employees. Being family-run for so long enabled the scientists and support staff to forge strong relationships with both customers and colleagues alike. The same ethos continues to this day.

Keith Borer Consultants is instructed by solicitors, barristers, insurance companies and review bodies, as well as private individuals. Our reports and opinions are presented in the criminal, family and civil courts, at employment tribunals, historical inquiries and inquests.
